A group of 22 secondary school teachers from 20 different countries is spending six weeks at 妻友社区 as part of a Fulbright program of professional development for foreign educators.

While Alison Caplan grew up in nearby Akron, Ohio, and has spent time in Kent, when she joined the university as the new director of the May 4 Visitors Center in July, she began to see, and understand, the campus in a whole new light. Caplan is part of a group of Golden Flashes that Kent State Today will be following for the 2023-24 academic year.

Philanthropic Gifts Prompt Kent State Ashtabula Main Hall to Be Renamed After Longtime Dean Susan J. Stocker, Ph.D.

In recognition of the generosity and commitment of James E. Mayer Jr. and Glen and Nancy Warner for their gifts toward a $500,000 endowment, the 妻友社区 Board of Trustees approved on Sept. 20 naming the main building at 妻友社区 at Ashtabula鈥痑s Susan J. Stocker Hall.
