Award-Winning Photojournalist and Kent State Alum Captures Stunning Losses in Maui Wildfires
ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø graduate and award-winning photojournalist Matthew Thayer has spent the past 43 years in Hawaii, working as a photojournalist for The Maui News newspaper. When Thayer was sent out to cover horse evacuations from the upcountry fires on Maui on Aug. 8, he never expected he would end up covering one of the worst natural disasters in Hawaii’s history.

Paris American Academy Program to Resume Operations January 2024
ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø Paris American Academy will not be open for students for fall 2023, but the program will resume operations in Paris, France, in January 2024. The students who registered for fall 2023 classes at the Paris American Academy can attend the New York City Fashion campus or Kent State Florence in Italy.
