ADVISORY: ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø Board of Trustees Meeting, May 22
The ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at Kent State’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative at 1309 Euclid Ave., Suite 200, in Cleveland to consider the recommendations of the standing committees, proposed personnel actions and new business.
Kent State Board of Trustees Establishes Four New Majors
The ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø Board of Trustees approved the establishment of four new majors during its regular quarterly meeting held March 6 on the Kent Campus. The Board also approved recommended actions for the East Main Street Project in Kent and a naming action.
Kent State Board of Trustees Approves New Cybercriminology Major
The ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø Board of Trustees approved the establishment of a new cybercriminology major within the Bachelor of Science degree at the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held Dec. 6. The new cybercriminology major will be offered fully online, in addition to a mostly online delivery at all Kent State campuses.
Governor Appoints Larry Macon Jr. to Kent State Board of Trustees
Macon will serve through May 16, 2027, fulfilling the unexpired term of Johnathan Holifield. Holifield resigned his position as a trustee in late 2022 due to an out-of-state relocation.
Kent State Board of Trustees Approves Significant Tuition Reduction for In-State Podiatric Medicine Students
The ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø Board of Trustees approved a revised tuition rate for students enrolled at the university’s College of Podiatric Medicine at the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held Wednesday, Sept. 20, in Rockwell Hall on the Kent Campus.
Governor Names Graduate Student Lara Boman to Kent State Board of Trustees
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has appointed Lara Boman of Ashland, Ohio, to a two-year term as a Graduate Student Trustee of the ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø Board of Trustees.
