Kent State Receives $357,000 Grant to Educate University Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Disorders
’s College of Public Health has received a $357,000 grant to fund Project AWARE Kent, a three-year Mental Health First Aid program. The initiative will train over 700 students, faculty, and staff to identify and respond to mental health and substance use disorders, aiming to reduce stigma and promote awareness across campus.
