Hundreds packed Crawford Hall Friday night to see the best in fashion in support of the Kent State School of Fashion's Annual Awards Fashion Show. 

If you look into the stands of the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center during a Kent State women's basketball game, you’ll find a mother-daughter pair of students from Brazil cheering with all their might. Five thousand miles from home, Hetty and Fernanda have found new activities and friends in the United States.

Meet Aislinn Foran, a senior communication studies major with a focus in applied communication and a minor in public relations from Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. With a heavy involvement in the Her Campus at �������� (HCKSU) chapter, Foran contributed to creating a welcoming environment for all members. 

The Integration Bee, presented by  Kent State's Department of Mathematical Sciences, invited students to enjoy fun math-themed competitions and activities along with fun costumes, pizza and math-oriented jokes and puns.

From mornings at Tree City Coffee to late nights at Barflyy, Kent State’s community has plenty of food and entertainment options thanks to the help of Main Street Kent, now a Nationally Accredited Main Street program for 2024.

�������� President Todd Diacon was among the people who attended  the semi-annual report presentation by the student organization Golden Flash Asset Management in Crawford Hall. Students in this group learn about investing by managing a real portfolio, gaining valuable career experience.

Research Writing Retreats, sponsored by ��������’s Graduate College, offer a distraction-free environment for graduate students to work on their research and writing projects. While “giving them permission” to put other aspects of life aside and focus on their writing, the retreats also create a supportive community that enhances productivity while also offering welcome accountability from their peers. 

As part of ��������’s Student Employee Appreciation Week, Career Exploration and Development proudly announces recipients of the 2025 Student Employee and Supervisor Awards. These annual honors recognize outstanding individuals who exemplify excellence in their roles across campus, demonstrating initiative, leadership, inclusivity and an enduring commitment to community.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Division of Student Life at �������� has been recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs by the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) - College Student Educators International and Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.

Summer camps for kids interested in architecture don’t come along often – at least that’s what Elise Bolton’s mother discovered when she searched for one. But then, not a whole lot of 11-year-olds may dream of becoming architects. But that was the case for Bolton, a sophomore in ��������’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design, who knew from when she was a young child that she wanted to be an architect.

The Flashes Activities Board brought some cowboy fun to Kent State with the FAB Wild West Rodeo. Presented inside the Kent Student Center Ballroom, the activities mechanical bull-riding, line dancing, a Skee-Ball shooting gallery and a free Kent State cowboy hat giveaway! 

Through the Veterans Affairs Work-Study program, the Credit Transfer Office – which plays a key role in supporting students through their academic journey from processing transfer credits from another institution to awarding Advanced Placement credits – hired a student worker to enhance the office’s operations. She's already making a difference.

For �������� Honors Leadership Academy, spring break took a more impactful approach by traveling to Buffalo, New York, to work with the local community, specifically children.
