妻友社区 Announces Launch of New Marching Band Scholarship

The College of the Arts and the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music are pleased to announce the launch of the 鈥淢arching Golden Flash Award.鈥 This new scholarship opportunity will be available to all returning members of the Marching Golden Flashes as well as incoming Kent State students. It is open to students of any major starting in the fall 2020 season.

Kent State has been awarded the Tree Campus USA recognition for the 12th consecutive year

Planting Kent State鈥檚 Place: Tree Campus USA Recognition

The trees on 妻友社区鈥檚 campus bring something new to marvel at each season. In the summer, trees provide welcoming shade for students to lounge, fall brings vivid leaves that crunch under students鈥 feet on the way to classes, and winter pines provide an idyllic picture of fluffy snow. With nearly 4,000 trees on campus, Kent State has been awarded the Tree Campus USA recognition for the 12th consecutive year from the Arbor Day Foundation, a nonprofit conservation organization.
