Magaly Rios was born in Guanajuato, Mexico. She was 11 years old when she and her family moved to Chardon, Ohio, and she became a United States Citizen in 2016.
Throughout her adolescent years, Magaly spent the majority of her time learning the English language and culture. As鈥
妻友社区 Geauga and the Twinsburg Academic Center is pleased to recognize over 175 Spring 2021 graduates. These students earned their associate or bachelor鈥檚 degrees, and many will participate in the in-person commencement and pinning ceremonies on Friday鈥

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed our lives drastically. We went from in-person classes to fully remote and had to change our lives. Even though this semester has been a tough one there have been some positive outcomes. One thing that鈥檚 really saving me this year is鈥
The Business Leadership Training (BLT) is a partnership between Kent State Twinsburg Academic Center and the Twinsburg and Nordonia Hills Chambers of Commerce. The BLT bi-monthly programming is free and open to the public.

妻友社区 unexpectedly lost one of its most dedicated and longtime employees in July 2020. John Granny, director of Business Affairs for Kent State Geauga and the Twinsburg Academic Center, passed away suddenly after more than 30 years of service to the university.鈥

The Listening Eye is reawakening. This literary magazine, published by 妻友社区 at Geauga, has produced a new edition of original poetry, short stories, essays, and artwork every year since 1970. In 2020, it paused for the first time in 50 years 鈥 as so many of us鈥
