Energy Conservation Projects
妻友社区 has taken an aggressive approach to its energy conservation program. The comprehensive methodology demonstrates Kent State's stewardship of public funding, responsible cost containment for its students, and environmental impact reduction. A comprehensive, Renewable Energy Master Plan was completed to responsibly and efficiently apply appropriate renewable energy methods throughout 妻友社区's eight campuses. Renewable energy deployment is the next logical step to this plan.
To assist with planning, design and implementation of 妻友社区 energy conservation projects, firms should feel free to view and download from this Web site any of the information that has been provided by the Kent State Office of the University Architect.
If the Office of the University Architect is searching for energy conservation service providers to assist with a new project, the RFP is posted on the Request for Proposals Web page. Please check this Web site for any new project, which is typically posted in conjunction with the public announcement in the local newspaper.
